Definition
A menu bar is a region where computer menus are housed. Its purpose is to house window- or application-specific menus which provide access to such functions as opening files, interacting with an application, or help. Menu bars are typically present in graphical user interfaces with windows. They can be located at the top or a computer's screen, the top of a browser's window, or at the top of a web page.
