A targeted attack (also called a targeted cyberattack) is

Overview
A targeted cyberattack could be effective if directed against a portion of the a country's critical infrastructure, and if timed to amplify the effects of a simultaneous conventional physical or chemical, biological, nuclear, or radiological (CBRN) terrorist attack.
